Who wouldn’t enjoy a little luxury without paying a high price? The Mastercard® Titanium Card is a bit like that. Part of the larger line of Luxury Cards, it looks amazing and offers some great features but comes without a crazy-high annual fee. Let’s find out more.

Who Is the Mastercard® Titanium Card Good For?
The Mastercard® Titanium Card is good for people who are frequent travelers and would enjoy earning points while taking advantage of luxury concierge services. You’ll need excellent credit in order to qualify.
How Does the Mastercard® Titanium Card Compare?
If you’re considering the Mastercard® Titanium Card, you might be wondering how it compares with its closest sibling, the Mastercard® Black Card. Both cards are made of brushed stainless steel and earn you one point for every dollar spent. If you redeem the points on airfare, you’ll get an extra 1%.
What does the Black Card have that the Titanium Card doesn’t? Luxury gifts, for starters, along with access to roughly 500 airport lounges around the globe. But you’ll also get a higher annual fee with the Black Card — $495 to be exact. So if you don’t think you’re likely to take advantage of swanky swag and airport lounge perks, the Titanium Card will probably suit your needs with a lower price tag.
How to Earn the Mastercard® Titanium Card Bonuses and Benefits
This card doesn’t offer a signup bonus, but it does give new applicants 15 months of interest-free financing on balance transfers completed within 45 days of account opening. You’ll also receive benefits at more than 3,000 hotel properties around the word, including room upgrades and spa credits, and 24/7 access to a concierge who can help you book travel or source a special gift.
This card offers rewards worth 2% of your spending toward airfare redemptions and 1% toward cashback awards. There’s no limit to the amount of rewards you can receive.
Mastercard® Titanium Card Fees
This card has a $195 annual fee, plus a $95 fee for each additional authorized cardholder. The balance transfer fee is 3% of the amount transferred and the cash advance fee is either $10 or 5% of the amount of each cash advance, whichever is greater. Mastercard® Titanium Card Pros and Cons
- Rewards — This card offers 2% rewards value for airfare and 1% for cashback redemptions.
- Interest-free Financing — New applicants receive 15 months of 0% APR financing on balance transfers completed within 45 days of account opening.
- Travel Insurance and Purchase Protection Benefits — This card offers numerous policies such as trip delay insurance and extended warranty coverage.
- Annual Fee — The $195 annual fee is higher than similar cards.
- Additional User Fees — You have to pay $95 for each additional user.
- No Signup Bonus — Most other premium reward cards offer a bonus for new applicants.
Ultimately, you’ll have to compare this card to its competitors, many of which have lower annual fees and more generous reward programs. For example, some competing cards offer points that can be transferred to airline miles, while others are airline cards that offer benefits such as free checked bags or priority service. But if none of the competing offers appeal to you and you like the look and feel of the Titanium Card, it offers plenty of cardholder benefits and is the least expensive way to get a Luxury Card.
